On Friday, March 5, the Syracuse Center of Excellence (SyracuseCoE) will host a presentation by Lisa Heinzerling, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Associate Administrator for the Office of Policy, Economics, and Innovation, in Maxwell Auditorium on Syracuse University Campus from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The event is free and open to the public, with parking available in Irving Garage, located on Stadium Place. Heinzerling, who will also participate in the SyracuseCoE Headquarters Dedication at 2 p.m. on March 5 will discuss how smart growth approaches to development and green building can both serve as an important component of our nation's efforts to combat climate change. US Rep. Dan Maffei (NY-25) will offer introductory remarks along with Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs Dean Mitch Wallerstein and SyracuseCoE Executive Director Ed Bogucz.
