The Department of Earth Sciences presents the spring 2005 K.
Douglas Nelson Lecture Series, this week featuring Dr. Mary
Stoertz, Ohio University.  Dr. Stoertz will speak on "Restoring
Mining-impacted Streams in Appalachia through Multidisciplinary
Partnerships." This lecture will be held  on Thursday, April 14,
at 4 p.m. in room 113 Heory Geology Laboratory.  Anyone wishing
to meet with Dr. Stoertz can contact her host Professor Don
Siegel.  The University community and public are welcome to
attend.
