Title:Steve Brechin to Participate in NSF Panel on Sociology and Climate Change

Steve Brechin is one of 25 leading sociologists who have been invited to participate in an National Science Foundation panel on "Sociological Perspectives on Global Climate Change." The panel will meet in May 2008 and will "identify major research efforts currently underway, facilitate collaborations, and set an agenda for future research." The workshop will focus its attention on "drafting recommendations for social science research topics, data needs, tool development, funding priorities, and promising strategies for understanding and addressing the human dimensions of global climate."
